Europe’s largest Android conference is set to return this Autumn: droidcon London 2019, one of the most heavily anticipated tech events of the year.
With Android advancements constantly evolving, it’s vital for developers to keep up-to-date with the latest innovations: droidcon London 2019 is the ideal platform for this. Passionate developers can connect with experts from the Android community, whilst expanding their skills. The chance to share knowledge and experiences with fellow mobile developers is one of the main reasons why it draws a crowd of 2,000+ developers each year. “It always comes down to the people,” says Pinterest’s Christina Lee, the conference’s opening keynote speaker. “I can’t wait to see all of the developers on the other side of the pond that I don’t usually get to speak with.”
Other keynotes include legendary Android advocate Chet Haase and current Google Toolkit lead Romain Guy, who co-headline day two; and Nike App maker Stacey Devino, who will speak about how developers can shape their personal brand. Her little secret? “The superstars of the developer world didn’t get there on pure talent alone! There are concrete steps that you can take to be recognised for the work you are already doing at every level and stage in your career. Personal branding and fulfilling that promise is worth real money, real happiness, real success in your work, and keeps building on itself.”
Over 2 days, more than 60 other speakers will deliver tech talks including Buffer’s Joe Birch who will share his journey on building an accessible “Smart Guitar” for the deaf, blind and mute, and Nexmo’s Britt Barak who will be speaking about the experimental Kotlin Multiplatform.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to get hands-on with workshops led by industry experts including Miriana Itani, Marcin Moskala, and Jorge Ortiz Fuentes, who regularly instructs the best iOS and Android Bootcamps in both the USA and Europe.
